As an educational community, we recognise that each child is created in the image of God. We are committed to supporting and motivating all students to achieve their full potential. 

As a professional community of educators,​ we are committed to ensuring every child develops the knowledge, skills and values necessary to actively engage in the​​ world of the future. 

St Mary's Primary School's Mission statement is consistent with the Mission for Catholic Education, which calls on Catholic schools to:

• Teach​ the Gospel values and Catholic faith
• Challenge students to think critically and act justly
• Transform the world through the work of education

The Vision and Mision statement aligns with the Alice Springs (Mparntwe Declaration) which calls on Catholic schools to be places of reconciliation and inclusion, where all students feel welcome and valued. ​
